Middle Tennessee Wins Golfweek Stifel Women’s Spring Challenge, Engel of Samford and Stephens of Charleston Southern Share Individual Title

The Golfweek Stifel Women’s Spring Challenge is complete at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, with Middle Tennessee securing the team title and Grace Engel of Samford and Katie Stephens of Charleston Southern sharing medalist honors. With the win, Middle Tennessee earns a spot in the 2026 Haskins Women’s Intercollegiate in Columbus, Georgia.

Middle Tennessee finished at 24 over after rounds of 289, 290, and 297. Coastal Carolina placed second at 27 over, followed by Samford at 29 over. Charleston Southern finished fourth at 33 over. Morehead State and Jacksonville State tied for fifth at 34 over. Ball State placed seventh at 38 over, with UNC Asheville in eighth at 39 over. Missouri State finished ninth at 51 over, and Western Michigan rounded out the top 10 at 54 over.

In the individual standings, Grace Engel of Samford and Katie Stephens of Charleston Southern tied for the title at 5 under. Engel posted rounds of 68, 72, and 68, while Stephens recorded rounds of 67, 70, and 71.

UNC Asheville’s Caroline Patterson finished third at 4 under. Coastal Carolina’s Ella Murray placed fourth at even par. Middle Tennessee’s Isabella Johnson and Charleston Southern’s Eugenie Varet tied for fifth at 2 over.

Jacksonville State’s Rachel Camp finished seventh at 4 over. Morehead State’s Tuva Isebakke and Middle Tennessee’s Jillian Bowman tied for eighth at 5 over. Jacksonville State’s Julie Ulvenes Kleppe rounded out the top 10 at 7 over.
