The Tigers led throughout the event and created separation in the final round. No. 11 Vanderbilt finished second at 9 under 843 (282, 280, 281). Tennessee and Ole Miss were the only other teams to finish under par for the tournament.

The result gives Koivun four wins in his last six collegiate starts and the ninth title of his collegiate career. He has also recorded four consecutive top 11 finishes on the PGA TOUR and holds a 67.2 scoring average across his last six collegiate events.

Ole Miss senior Tom Fischer finished second at 10 under 203 (67, 70, 66).
