The Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational concluded at Silverado Country Club and Resort in Napa, California, with Brigham Young securing the team title at 54 under after three rounds.
Santa Clara finished second at 29 under. Tohoku Fukushi, San Francisco, and North Alabama tied for third at 20 under. Cal Poly placed sixth at 13 under, followed by Eastern Michigan at 6 under and Connecticut at 5 under. UC Davis and Howard rounded out the top 10.
BYU’s Kihei Akina earned medalist honors at 21 under after three rounds. Teammate Peter Kim finished second at 16 under, giving BYU the top two individual spots. UC Davis’ Lequan Wang placed third at 15 under, while Santa Clara’s Matt Robles finished fourth at 14 under.
Six players tied for fifth at 7 under, including Kaito Sato, Xing Luo, Tyson Shelley, Jedd Brady, Bradley Sawka, and Tucker Sweeney.
