Tennessee and Georgia Tech Share Title at Pauma Valley Invitational, Simpson and Sides Earn Medalist Honors

The Pauma Valley Invitational presented by Heads Up concluded at Pauma Valley Country Club in Pauma Valley, California, with Tennessee and Georgia Tech finishing tied for first at 16 under.

LSU and Florida shared third place at 13 under. Oklahoma State placed fifth at 8 under. Virginia and Illinois finished tied for sixth at 6 under to round out the top of the leaderboard.

In the individual standings, Tennessee’s Lance Simpson and SMU’s William Sides both earned medalist honors after finishing at 10 under 203.

Oklahoma State’s Preston Stout placed third at 8 under. LSU’s Jay Mendell finished fourth at 7 under. Five players tied for fifth at 6 under, including Illinois individual Ethan Wilson, Georgia Tech’s Aidan Tran, and Virginia’s Ben James.

Virginia’s Paul Chang, Illinois’ Dane Huddleston, and San Diego’s Ian Maspat tied for eighth at 5 under.
