Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, TCU will host the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational from March 22 through March 24. The 54-hole NCAA Division I event is hosted by TCU and features one of the strongest fields in women’s college golf.
The 13 teams that are scheduled to compete are, including No. 1 Stanford, No. 3 Texas A and M, No. 5 Auburn, No. 6 Oregon, No. 7 Texas, No. 8 Wake Forest, No. 11 Duke, No. 16 Mississippi State, No. 21 Arizona, No. 24 SMU, No. 29 Oklahoma State, No. 42 TCU, and No. 120 Tulane. The lineup includes three teams ranked in the top five, six in the top 10, and 10 ranked in the top 25 nationally.
The individual field will feature the top six players in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. Oregon’s Kiara Romero enters the event ranked No. 1. Texas player Farah O’Keefe is ranked No. 4. Stanford brings four players ranked inside the top six, including Paula Martín Sampedro at No. 2, Andrea Revuelta at No. 3, Meja Örtengren at No. 5, and Megha Ganna at No. 6.
Auburn’s Anna Davis returns as the defending champion. Davis, ranked No. 14 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking and the 2022 Augusta National Women’s Amateur medalist, set the women’s Colonial course record last year with a final round 64 without a bogey.
Competition begins with a practice round on Sunday, March 22. Two rounds will be played on Monday, beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m., followed by the final round on Tuesday morning. The tournament is free and open to the public.
The Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational will be played for the third time. The first event took place at Ridglea Country Club in Fort Worth during the fall of 2024 while Colonial Country Club completed course renovations. The tournament moved to Colonial in the spring of 2025.
Fort Worth and Colonial Country Club also host several major college golf events each year, including the Charles Schwab Women’s Collegiate Invitational, the Ben Hogan Men’s Collegiate Invitational, and the Ben Hogan Award presented by Baird.
