Virginia secured the team title at the Southern Highlands Collegiate at Southern Highlands Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nevada, finishing the 54-hole event at 15 under par. The Cavaliers posted rounds of 277, 284, and 288 to claim the victory.
Illinois finished third at four under, while Texas placed fourth at one under. Florida completed the tournament in fifth at three over. Oklahoma finished sixth at four over, followed by Washington in seventh at seven over. New Mexico and Texas A&M tied for eighth at twelve over, and Pepperdine rounded out the top ten at fourteen over.
Virginia placed three players inside the top fifteen during the tournament. Josh Duangmanee led the Cavaliers with a runner-up finish at eight under after rounds of 72, 67, and 69, including a bogey-free 69 in the final round. Ben James finished tied for fifth at five under, while Paul Chang, who held the 36-hole lead entering the final round, finished tied for eleventh at three under.
Texas senior Christiaan Maas captured medalist honors at ten under par with rounds of 70, 68, and 68. Jackson Koivun finished third at seven under, followed by Jake Albert in fourth at six under.
Ben James of Virginia and Illinois’ Trey Marrion tied for fifth at five under. Pepperdine’s Mahanth Chirravuri, San Diego State’s Harry Takis, Washington’s Finn Koelle, and Illinois’ Dane Huddleston shared seventh place at four under.
