Championship Golf Network will provide live coverage of the 100th Texas Junior Amateur on July 1, 2026, streaming from Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas. The milestone edition of the championship brings together many of the top junior golfers in the state to compete in one of Texas golf’s longest running and most respected events. 

Hosted by the Texas Golf Association, the Texas Junior Amateur has served for a century as a proving ground for elite junior talent. The championship continues to be a key platform for players seeking to advance to collegiate and professional golf, with a history that reflects the depth and strength of junior golf across Texas. 

In 2005, the Legends Junior Tour was established and operates as part of the Texas Golf Association and the TGA Foundation. The LJT is part of the Texas Junior Golf Alliance; a joint venture between the Northern and Southern Texas PGA Sections and is open to young men and women ages 19 & under, who meet minimum handicap requirements and have distinguished themselves in local, regional, statewide, and national competitions.
