Round one of the First Coast Amateur concluded Saturday at Deerwood Country Club in Jacksonville, with a tightly packed leaderboard setting the tone for the remainder of the championship.

Roman Solomon of the University of South Florida and Max Bengtsson of Coastal Carolina share the lead after each posted four under par 68. The duo matched the low round of the day and holds a one shot advantage heading into round two.

Fraser Walters sits alone in third at three under par 69, positioning himself within striking distance after a steady opening round.

A group of four players is tied for fourth at two under par 70. That group includes Rasmus Gross of the University of Toledo, Laurens Schulze-Doering of the University of North Florida, Bruce Murphy of the University of Tennessee, and Brock Blais of the University of South Carolina.

Three players are tied for eighth at one under par 71. Henry Robards of Mercer University, Brody Tidwell of Georgia State, and Harry Satterlee of the University of Cincinnati round out the top ten after day one.

Round two is scheduled to continue Sunday at Deerwood Country Club.
