Chul-Ak- Sorn and Wu Share Lead After Round Two at Women’s Orlando International Amateur

Round two of the Women’s Orlando International Amateur concluded  Monday at Mission Resort and Club in Howey in the Hills, Florida, with the leaderboard tightening at the top on the Las Colinas and El Campeon Courses.

Karisa Chul-Ak-Sorn of Iowa State and Siuue Wu of Florida moved into a share of the lead at four under par 140 after two rounds. Chulaksorn followed her opening round with a one under 65, while Wu backed up her opening 67 with a three under 67 to remain tied for first heading into the final round.

Ga Hui Kim sits alone in third at three under par 141 after rounds of 69 and 72, keeping steady pressure on the leaders.

A group of four players is tied for fourth at two under par 142, including Jodie Han, Pimpisa Sisutham of the University of Central Florida, Helen Yeung of North Carolina, and Emerson Dever of Virginia Tech. Each player remains within two shots of the lead entering Sunday.

Three players are tied for eighth at even par 143. Nichakorn Pinprayoon of Iowa State posted rounds of 76 and 67, while Jiarui Chen and Rayee Feng each carded rounds of 72 and 71 to stay inside the top ten.

With minimal separation among the leaders, the championship heads into the final round with multiple players in contention at Mission Resort and Club.
