Final round play at the Thunderbolt Invitational concluded Wednesday at Sterling Grove Golf and Country Club in Surprise, Arizona, with Connor Henry of Middle Tennessee State securing the championship with a three round total of nine under par.

Connor Henry closed with a one under par sixty five to finish at nine under par two hundred four, earning the Thunderbolt Invitational title. After opening with seventy three, Henry followed with rounds of sixty six and sixty five to separate himself at the top of the leaderboard.
Oregon State’s Rylan Johnson finished second at nine under par two hundred four. Johnson followed his course record ten under par sixty three in round two with a final round sixty seven to remain in contention through the final holes.
A group of four players tied for third at seven under par two hundred six, including Trevor Lewis of UNLV, Logan Kim of UCLA, Hanjie Yu of UC San Diego, and Vincent Cervantes of Marquette. Lewis closed with a sixty six, while Kim and Yu each posted sixty seven. Cervantes carded a sixty nine in the final round.
New Mexico teammates Johnnie Clark and Thayer Plewe shared seventh at six under par two hundred seven after steady three round performances.
Notre Dame’s Nate Stevens and Colorado State’s Jake Rodgers rounded out the top ten at five under par two hundred eight.
